YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Kotagede, a sub-district located in Yogyakarta, is renowned for being the silver jewelry handicraft center of Indonesia for ages.

Craft stores crammed with silver accessories and ornaments are dotted around this phenomenal region. With highly detailed filigree techniques, local craftsmen conscientiously produce various types of silver handicrafts that boast unique design as well as distinctive, prominent and varied motifs.
